An award to share

Hello everyone! I have received a beautiful award from the absolutely lovely Lizzy, Kat and Coops. Thank you so much for thinking of me, all of you and giving me so much love!

The rules for this award are:
1. Thank the person who gave you the award.
2. Name 3 things you like about yourself
3. Post a picture you love
4. Tag 5 people you'd like to give this award to.

So 3 things I like about myself:
1. My little family, some would say not perfect but whom I love the way it is
2. I'm very happy with what I have and don't look for more (except... stamps, I'm afraid)
3. I am never bored!

Here is a picture I love, my youngest son, 6 weeks old on that one... I have the same kind of picture of my oldest son, but couldn't find the file:-( So here's is the one I'm sharing with you...

And the 5 persons I'd like to give the award to (but so many others I'd like to give it to too!), thank you all so much for all the inspiration you give me and for all your lovely comments!
1. Scrapmumur - my only French follower, and a really talented one!
2. Squirrel - my only pet follower:-) and a really lovely Squirrel she is...
3. ScoopysSue - thank you for taking the time to visit my little place, really, when you are on so many DTs... even if you have it, just wanted to say thank you:-)
4 and 5. Lorraine M and Debra - so many reasons... but I have to keep this post short!!

I think that's it:-)! Enjoy the rest of your day and talk to you soon!
Hugs to you all,
Delphine xxx

A simple wedding card

Hi all! A quick post from me today, just to show you the card I made for my friend's wedding last week. I have kept it simple, though I was dying to add a bow and also wanted to use Flower Soft, but I didn't because I don't have the perfect glue and my card was meant to "travel" a little, so I was afraid the result wouldn't be really nice. A simple card then!

Coucou!

And here is the close up...

Stamp: Whiff of Joy - Wedding carriage
Copics: B00, 01, 02, BG000, C0, C1, C3, C5, C7, C8, E000, 00, 37, 47, 57, R22, 24, 27, 29, Copic Multiliner (0.3) and Copic Spica glitter pen (a lot on the flowers, though you can't really tell from my photo:-)
Papers: Bazzill dotted Swiss card (salt and phoenix?)
Tool: MS Doily lace punch, Ink Blending Tool (with ColorBox Ink - Baby Blue and Grey)
Pearls and ribbon from stash

I hope you like it, even if it is really simple :-)! I hope you are having a great Sunday and I will catch up with you all later in the day, I am so late, but don't worry, I am coming!

Bises,

Hugs,
Delphine xx

A sort of card... :-)

Hello, hello! Today is the start of a new challenge at Anya Ink... We would like you to use 3 flowers, 2 buttons, 1 bow on your creations. And YOU CAN NOW USE ANY IMAGE YOU LIKE!! The DT have made some gorgeous cards and so has Lisa, our GDT, so give them some love if you have time!

Bonjour!

Here is my card, er... sort of card... I'll explain later...

And close ups...

Stamps: Amelia and house (The Greeting Farm, Happy Day and My House sets), sentiment (Rachelle Anne Miller - Stampavie/ it is part of a sign that I cut)
Copics: Very sorry, I'm afraid the list is in the bin
Flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts
Die: Shapeabilities (Flourish Accents)
Ribbon and buttons from my stash

I wanted my card to be a sort of frame, with the house really in the background in a sort of "niche", but my card cannot be folded to be put into an envelope, that's why it is more like a decoration than a real card...:-)!

Sideways views of my "sort of card", so you can understand...

I am also entering my card into the following challenges:
All That Scraps Wednesday Challenge, where the theme is Die Cuts (I used one type only, I hope it's OK)
Wild Orchid Challenge - challenge #3 - One for the girls
Craft Your Days Away - challenge #1 - Favourite Things (Being at home, making cards!!)
Have a nice weekend... I am going to a friend's wedding near the Swiss border, 450 miles from Paris and will be back online on Monday!

Bises,

Hugs,
Delphine xx

A birthday card

Hello all! I hope you are all well... Tonight's card is for my niece who is turning 5. Hence the pink, the princess, the hearts... I've used a few challenges for inspiration:

Bonsoir!

Cute Card Thursday - #124 Whateva! (tout convient)
7 Kids College Fund - Pink and Dots (Rose et pois)
Pollycraft - #55 Fit For a Princess (Digne d'une princesse)
Stamp Something - Photo Inspiration - card for my niece's birthday + pink (S'inspirer de la photo)

Stamp: Kraftin' Kimmie - Princess Petunia
Copics: BV0000, E000, E00, R20, RV000, RV00, RV02, RV04, Y21 + Copic Spica glitter pen (clear)
DP: Daisy & Dandelion (Penelope & Percy)
Punch: MS Doily Lace
Embellishments: Prima flowers, pearls and heart buttons from my stash

And the image...

I used my Copic Spica glitter pen on the dress, but just a little bit, and the paper is glittered... which I think my niece will like!

And that's it! As usual it is very late, 1.30am in Paris, and I think I'd better go to bed... my 3-year-old son often wakes up at 7... Thanks a lot for your visit and see you later!

Hugs,
Delphine xx

Bye Copics, hello Tombows...

Hello everyone! It's Inspiration Week at Anya Ink, and you can still enter our Black and White + One challenge. The DT have made gorgeous creations and there is a great tutorial by our very talented Peta about black and white colouring, but not with Copics... If you want to learn a bit more, take a look!

Bonjour!

For my card, I said "bye Copics"... Yes, I was waiting for my C refills to arrive so couldn't colour black and White with my Copics, hence my choice of Tombows...

I couldn't resist this time, just had to use pink, I love this colour combo...
Here is a close up...
Gros plan...

Stamps: Nora on a Swing, butterflies and sentiment by CC Designs
Tombows: N15, N45, N60, N79, N89, 673, 676
DPs: Basic Grey ("back" of 2 papers from the Sugar Rush collection)
Ribbon and pearls from stash

I stamped my image twice to have another copy of the little butterflies around the branch, poor butterflies that I cut and killed on purpose (how cruel) when I cut my image, then I pasted new butterflies where they were supposed to be and added a couple others...
I also dotted the background using 3 different grey Tombows, the way some people do with Copics, then added water with my brush to blend a little...

I'd like to enter this little Nora into the following challenges:
Creative Card Crew - Cute and Girly (mignon et qui fasse fille)
Stamptacular Sunday - #70 Out of this World (qch qu'on ne voit pas dans le monde où nous vivons)
ABC Challenge - A is for August (Août)
Flutterby Wednesday - Favourite colour (pink... with black!) (Couleur préférée)
My Partner In Crafting Crime - Teens or Tweens (my card shows my favourite hobby when I was young and my 17-year-old stepdaughter's favourite hobby too, the only difference, she always has her IPod on on the swing:-)!) (qch qui représente notre/ l'adolescence)

I think that's it. Have a nice day and a great weekend!
Bon week-end! Bises,
Hugs,
Delphine xx
